Information
At the Paris Climate Conference (COP21) which took place on December 2015, the nations of the world gathered to tackle the urgent issue of climate change. A major issue is how industrialized countries will provide assistance to developing countries in fighting global warming. This program shows how JICA, Japan International Cooperation Agency, is carrying out efforts in this area. It focuses on several examples of JICA initiatives in Vietnam, Indonesia and elsewhere. How does global warming affect developing countries? What policies should be pursued to reduce greenhouse gas emissions? JICA is helping to find the answers.
