Nekka Shochu is a distilled spirit manufactured in the town of Tadami, Fukushima Prefecture. It’s won many international liquor competitions and established its brand status in only three years. Developed and produced alongside local rice farmers, their goal is to bring the community together in promoting the potential of rice to the world.
In March 2020, a brand-new train station debuted in Tokyo – the Takanawa Gateway Station. After 50 days of travel through Japan covering over 1,800km, the runAway team reach the Oki Islands in Shimane Prefecture. Before the end, they’re off to the see the Kuniga Coast Line, part of Daisen-Oki National Park and a UNESCO Global Geopark. The spectacular coastal scenery is the perfect setting to end this adventure.
