The nature of materials plays an important role in the development of industrial products. Today, materials development is not only about quality, but also about how to reduce the environmental impact of the manufacturing process. Until now, manufacturers have had to rely on intuition and experience through repeated trial and error, but a method called "Materials Informatics"(MI) , which makes full use of AI, has begun to be put into practice. Hitachi High-Tech, which introduced MI, is now able to recommend appropriate mixing ratios to customers. The manufacturer has been able to reduce the time of tests, which has led to a reduction in CO2 emissions and waste.
J-TRIP
Kansai International Airport is the international gateway to western Japan, located in Izumisano City, Osaka. In this segment, we showcase the latest entertainment spots for visitors to enjoy a variety of experiences near the airport; whether they are visiting Osaka or Kyoto for sightseeing, or just in transit with limited time between flights. We simulate a short, easy, half-day trip in the “Rinku Town area" of Izumisano City.
