Beyond COVID-19

Aired: October 15, 2020 (UTC)

Information

The spread of the COVID-19 has dramatically altered the way we live. How have these changes impacted people around the world? And how are they moving forward?

To gain insight, we welcome ordinary individuals from four different countries—the US, Spain, India, and the Philippines—-to our studio as remote guests.

Each from very different situations and environments, they discuss how the crisis has affected them personally, and how they are adapting to the changes in society.

We also introduce videos sent in by viewers on how life has changed for them and their outlook on it. With videos from Canada, Austria, Panama, and more, we get a glimpse into what life currently looks like around the world.

The program is hosted by Kisa Ayako, who also hosts NHK World-JAPAN’s program SPORTS JAPAN.
